Our Standards for Ethical and Responsible Business
At Assurance Quality Apparels, we are committed to conducting business with integrity, fairness and respect for people and the environment. Our Code of Conduct derived from the values & Standards set by our distinguished Customers, the United Nations, as declared of Human Rights and many of the ILO core conventions and Local Law. Every factory, supplier and business partner we work with is expected to follow these standards without exception.
Our Code of Conduct for Vendor Selection
Compliance with Laws
We comply with all applicable local, national and international laws, regulations,and industry standards.
No Child or Forced Labor
Child labor and forced labor are strictly prohibited.
- Workers must meet the minimum legal working age.
- Employment must be freely chosen without coercion, threats, or penalties.
Fair Wages and Working Hours
Employees must be paid at least the legal minimum wage and provided all legally mandated benefits.
- Working hours, overtime, and rest periods must comply with applicable laws and agreements.
- Wages are paid regularly, transparently, and in full.
Safe and Healthy Working Conditions
Factories and facilities must:
- Provide a safe, hygienic workplace.
- Prevent accidents and injuries through proactive safety measures and training.
- Maintain emergency plans, fire safety systems, and first-aid readiness.
Non-Discrimination and Respect
All workers must be treated with dignity and respect.
- Discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, religion, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other status is not tolerated.
- We expect our partners to foster inclusive workplaces.
Freedom of Association
Employees have the right to freely associate, join or not join trade unions, and bargain collectively in accordance with local laws.
Environmental Responsibility
We expect all partners to:
- Comply with environmental laws and regulations.
- Manage waste, emissions, and resource use responsibly.
- Minimize negative impacts on the environment wherever possible.
Anti-Corruption and Business Integrity
Bribery, corruption, extortion, and fraudulent practices are strictly prohibited.
- All business dealings must be transparent and accurately documented.
- Confidential information must be protected.
Monitoring and Compliance
Factory assessments and regular audits.
Corrective action plans when improvements are needed.
Ongoing dialogue and support to achieve continuous improvement.
